Tablets and Capsules

It was a shame that I couldn't swallow capsule in my mid- twenties.I had to open up the gelatinous case, poured the dose of medicine, mixed it with a bit of water then forced it into my mouth. At this point of time,I would pray that my tastebuds are malfunctioning.Don't blame me for ignoring doctors' advices to finish the course of medication. The experiences of tasting the bitter and smelly powder were so awful that I stopped my medication once I felt better.

For many years,I was hoping that smaller capsule could be invented for people like me.The capsule loves to swim laps in my mouth full of water. It seemed that there was a defender in the back of my throat, blocking the huge capsule from coming in.Then the worst came, the tasteless case melted and the bitter white monsters emerged and spread themselves.I squeezed my eyes and felt like throwing up.Immediately like a sucker,I emptied all the milky liquid in my mouth, flashed down with more water to get rid of the disgusting taste. The thought of this made me wanted to puke.

However, all these have changed when I went for my wisdom teeth surgery.I had to swallow some pills and capsules before the surgery and I did it.Don't ask me how I did it.I supposed I was so thirsty that I just gulped down the water and realised that the medicine has washed down to my stomach without my knowledge.I was amazed at the latest skills I have acquired.

From then on,I have conquered the "it is all in your mind"!Medicine is no longer my enemy. But I prefer not to get sick.
