Ian
I will always remember Ian birthday. Sorry Shaune, the reason was Ian birthday is 3 days away from mine. Ian is the first baby I have been so up close and personal. I visited Ian when he was 2 days old in the hospital and I exclaimed "he is so tiny!" And I was so afraid to touch him because I think I could break his fragile bones.
Dad said "You were also this size the last time. The baby is normal, it is supposed to be this small." Ok, this was the first time I looked at the little life. And the first time, I was amazed at this little life. Well, god is amazing. Looked at how the little fine fingers were formed, the perfect eyelashes, the little pinkish lips, the tiny soft nose... And the most envy of all, the smooth and silky skin. Life is just so amazing. He got my brother's head, but the rest of the facial features are from Maria's genes. Isn't it amazing how two sexes make a life and the life has a bit of him and her?
Frankly speaking, I disliked children and I found them irritating. After seeing baby Ian, I learnt to appreciate little life better. Life is a miracle!
