The White Man
One day, I was on my way for my music class at Suntec City. In the middle of the journey, the sky turned dark and soon it was raining heavily. I have no umbrella, no raincoat and I stood at the alighting bus stop, hoping that the rain would stop. There was no way to get into the class without being drenched. Besides, I have to tolerate the air conditioning classroom in my wet clothes for two hours.
It seemed that the rain was not going to stop any sooner. The clock was ticking away and I was getting late for my lesson... terribly late... Just then a man in all white walked towards me. He was wearing a white polo t-shirt, white bermuda and white track shoes. I went up to him and asked if he was walking in the same direction as me and if I could share his umbrella. Soon, I was walking side by side with him.
This gentleman kept a good distance between the both of us. Well, some could think of a good excurse to get close to girls because they didn't want to be wet sharing the small umbrella. And some would think that this is my umbrella, I shouldn't be getting wet and therefore they had three quarter of the shelter and you ended up half of your body wet.
After we departed, I knew why I was dry without a single rain drop. I turned back and saw him in soaked clothes. There was so much appreciation in my heart... If there is a day when I could meet him again, I want to tell him how thankful I am for his selfless act.
